Introducing Data Analytics to Improve Manufacturing Engineering

In this release, DELMIA Fabrication, which encompasses Additive Manufacturing and Machining, delivers new roles that bring enhanced functionality to the manufacturing process. Capabilities that enable Numerical Control (NC) experts to create templates that encapsulate knowledge and company rules allow NC Programmers to find, and quickly build, the right template. This simplifies programming tasks and makes it less prone to errors. Moreover, shop floor operators are now equipped with the ability to review the latest NC processes and programs in 3D prior to execution, and in conjunction with all DELMIA Machining roles. Within Additive Manufacturing, we introduced a new solution to provide expanded 3D printing methods for the production of polymer parts in a new and intuitive user interface. This provides production facilities such as Service Bureaus, Fablabs, and mass production environments the ability to prepare and simulate Additive Manufacturing processes and validate the operation before printing.

DELMIA Process Engineering delivers a data analytics solution that provides Manufacturing Engineering Managers a full view of how the MBOM is consuming the EBOM with tailored KPIs in one cockpit. Those out of the box KPIs inform about maturity status, process details, and accountability of EBOM/MBOM, helping to ensure that Manufacturing Engineers are fulfilling their milestones and delivering processes that are complete.
