News: Hupac prepares for digitalization in the intermodal industry
November 16, 2016 - While new railway infrastructures such as the Gotthard Base Tunnel will offer many opportunities to further develop rail freight transportation, the intermodal industry also calls for digitalization and an improved way of handling big data. Therefore, Hupac, the leading combined transport operator in Switzerland and one of the market leaders in Europe, chose Quintiq, a global leader in supply chain planning and optimization (SCP&O), to implement a new capacity management system that will optimize Hupac's operations and provide further improved services for Hupac's customers.
