Capabilities to model and simulate complex multi-disciplinary systems
The Systems discipline provides capabilities to model and simulate complex multi-disciplinary systems that include control systems, mechanisms, flexible bodies, and multiple simulation domains such as fluid-structure interaction. Logical and physical models can be coupled together. Multidisciplinary experiments can be run and re-run to evaluate and validate system performance reducing design time and risk-of-failure in physical testing
Key Benefits
- Couple 3D models together to capture the interaction of multiple physics, including Structures and Fluids, using virtual testing
- Couple Logical (0D) and Physical (3D) models of plant and controller to capture key behaviors across multiple scales using Dymola technology
- Utilize a unique web environment for assembly and execution of multi-physics, multiscale systems
