DELTAGEN HUB
LOGISTICALLY BETTER VISUALIZATION
Bring your model to life with DELTAGEN HUB.
Regardless of the final use-case, HUB allows you to build-up, enrich, and validate your optimized data set for multi-channel asset, or experience creation. Apply logistics, metadata enrichment, performance requirements, and variant creation for an extremely versatile twin.
With HUB, create complex configuration for marketing and sales in unsurpassed quality and universal compatibility with leading game-engines, and other CGI pipelines. Use HUB for enrichment, where the possibilities are limitless.
Frequently Asked Questions
HUB prepares and optimizes visualized models for any use, while STAGE contains everything that is included in HUB but adds the ability to render 2/2.5D layers for configurators, and panoramas for mobile and lightweight VR applications.
All Python API functions are accessible in both applications. DELTAGEN specific functions cannot be called in DELTABATCH. As a consequence, it is a good practice to utilize the python script editor in DELTAGEN until the scripts work as expected. Afterwards, they can be utilized in DELTABATCH.
The product supports nearly all CAD formats, but the list of all Import/Export formats can be found on our full feature list, which will also provide you with further information around DELTAGEN features and their packaging.
If you are looking for a generic render setup you are able to utilize the Render Export. It allows you to create a render setup based on all available parameters including: format, size, render settings, render passes and allows users to incorporate product variants.
If you are looking for a complex layer setup based on your product, you can do that with DELTAGEN:
The product supports AXF materials including CarPaint 2, svBRDF as well as Substance materials.
In regards to Substance, only a few parameters and presets are not yet supported.
In Direct Maya you are able to transport geometries, UV´s, Normals, Basic Materials and Metadata. Furthermore, you can auto-replace materials and utilize a live-connection to an external variant switcher to keep your product configurable.
Core Functionalities
Complicated data sets have met their match with DELTAGEN’s Model Optimizer. Massive performance improvements can be gained through the optimizer’s automatic search and deletion of unnecessary part groups and the reduction of a scene-tree’s depth.
Hardware requirements can be reduced by decreasing the scene’s shape count, by combining objects with the same material values. Shadow maps can also be aggregated into large texture atlases to reduce the file count and overhead of unused areas on a shadow texture. Aggregated shadow textures can be authored further in DELTAGEN & HUB.

The CG workflow is instantly streamlined and upgraded with DELTAGEN’s native support of XPDMXML files straight from CAD software.
Further linking DELTAGEN to the power of the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE® platform, directly import CAD files that include model parts with NURBS, UVs, materials, metadata and complete assembly structures.
Simplify processes and focus more on the work you love, and less time worrying about file compatibility.
Significantly reduce the polygon count of CAD models, while maintaining high visual quality, with the polygon decimator.
When used in conjunction with the Model Optimizer, data can be quickly and easily prepared for use in gaming engines to create stunning desktop, mobile, immersive experiences and beyond. Further, extend and reuse all digital assets with this versatile functionality.
DELTAGEN’s powerful Automatic Unwrapping feature provides perfect texturing without visible seams, allowing for full material coverage. The result is smooth, gorgeous textures that are indistinguishable from their real-world counterparts.
Shadow UVs also feature automatic unwrapping, making your texturing smoother, more inutitive and higher quality with less effort.

Save time, effort and achieve better model reduction results with refined jacketing techniques.
Define occluders per group or part – rather than by isolating parts one by one – and quickly compare results from different quality settings to determine how to best prepare your data.

Bake shadows at the speed of light with the Stellar render engine.
An optimized UV unwrapper, specifically designed for shadow-map generation, adds an uncanny level of realism to product models.
To save even more time, when an update to a model is made, shadows only need to be baked for the added or revised part, while all pre-existing shadows require no additional recalculation. This streamlined approach complements a workflow with the perfect shadow solution – even when working with PDMXML files.
