Course Objective
This course is an introduction to structural and thermal simulation for design engineers using the Linear Structural Scenario Creation app on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. It teaches you how to solve linear structural analyses in preparation for evaluating the performance of products during the product development stage.
The course covers the following topics:
- Linear structural analysis
- Loads and restraints
- Modeling contact
- Static analysis
- Natural frequency extraction
- Transient modal dynamics
- Steady state thermal simulation
The course is divided into lectures and workshops. The course's workshops are integral to the training. They are designed to reinforce concepts presented during the lectures. They are intended to provide users with the experience of running and troubleshooting actual structural simulations.
