Isight is a simulation process integration, design exploration and optimization software that allows engineers to automate their manual design processes. Isight facilitates rapid integration of simulation tools for both internally developed programs and commercial CAD/CAE/Math/Office applications. It provides engineering intelligence to drive the investigation of design alternatives using numerical techniques such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Optimization, Monte Carlo Simulation, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), and many others. This, in turn, helps engineers evaluate more design alternatives, reduce design cycle time, and improve product quality and reliability. For more information on the capabilities of Isight, refer to the Isight Product Page.
This course provides a brief overview to Users for creating flexible simulation process flows to automate the exploration of design alternatives and identification of optimal performance parameters. In this course you will learn how to:
The course is designed for Analysts and Engineering Managers who want to better leverage their analysis by applying automation and exploration techniques to their simulations. Knowledge of the FEA solver Abaqus is suggested but not a prerequisite for the course.
The registration cost for this course is $580. We offer sizable discounts for group registrations from the same site†. The table below lists the discount pricing schedule. Registrations after October 31, 2012 may incur an additional processing fee of $50 per person. SIMULIA East reserves the right to decline registrations received after the deadline.
Attendee[s] per site | Cost per person |
1 | $580 |
2-5 | $480 per additional registration |
6-10 | $380 per additional registration |
> 10 | $280 per additional registration |
†Above discounts apply to attendees registering together on one registration form and providing one form of payment.
Academic Discount
A discounted registration fee of $200 is offered to all academic institutions on a space available basis. This discount cannot be combined with the multiple attendee discount. The registrations with the academic discount will not include workshop support.
Electronic copies of the training notes will be provided to each registrant for their personal use. Every registrant will also receive a free copy of Abaqus Student Edition – a $99 value. No additional Isight or Abaqus licenses will be provided, so to ensure that you can perform all the workshops fully you will need access to a licensed copy of Isight and Abaqus.
