3K Nano
IF WE could enhance our nanomaterial stability, can we ensure long lasting reliable biosensor platform for the consistent performance in the clinical environment?

Challenge
3K Nano was launched to tackle major limitations in current diagnostic methods, which are often expensive, time-consuming, and require large sample volumes—making them inaccessible for many, especially those with limited financial resources. Their nanomaterials-based biosensor technology offers a more stable, rapid, and cost-effective alternative. A core motivation is to enhance the stability of nanomaterials to ensure a durable, reliable biosensor platform capable of delivering consistent clinical performance.
Mission
3K Nano’s mission is to develop reliable, low-cost biosensors for healthcare and environmental monitoring. By using nanomaterials and screen-printed carbon electrodes, they aim to create stable, sensitive, and rapid diagnostic tools that overcome the limitations of traditional methods. Their goal is to make essential health insights more accessible and affordable for all.
Disruptive Innovation
3K Nano’s disruptive innovation centers on enhancing the stability of nanomaterials to create a durable and reliable biosensor platform for long-term clinical use. Their approach involves developing electrochemical sensors using screen-printed carbon electrodes, enabling rapid and cost-effective diagnostics. They are currently applying this technology to create a vitamin D3 sensor with real-time monitoring capabilities and are also developing similar platforms for detecting cortisol, ammonia, and trimethylamine (TMA).

Impact
3K Nano’s solution directly supports the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – by offering affordable and rapid diagnostic tools, they make healthcare more equitable and accessible.
- SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure – through cutting-edge nanomaterial-based biosensors, they bring heightened sensitivity, selectivity, and swift response times to clinical diagnostics.
- SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – by enabling reliable, scalable, and cost-effective testing, they contribute to healthier, more resilient communities.
Their innovations have the potential to significantly expand access to vital health data, especially for underserved populations. In particular, the vitamin D testing market—where their nanomaterials are applied—is projected to more than triple in value, showing a strong potential for both societal impact and sustainable growth.
Leveraging the 3DEXPERIENCE platform
3K Nano intends to leverage Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform for product design, simulation, and streamlining development. Dassault Systèmes' solutions will support them in exploring all relevant simulation scopes to help maximize their chances of success, highlighting the critical importance of advanced simulation in their industrial development.
Collaborative & Collective Intelligence
Before becoming part of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab ecosystem, 3K Nano was incubated at the Atal Incubation Center in New Delhi.
As 3K Nano moves toward industrialization, it aims to expand its ecosystem and build strong collaborations across the industry.

3K Nano
3K Nano is developing next-generation biosensors using nanomaterials and screen-printed carbon electrodes. Their goal is to make health and environmental diagnostics faster, more affordable, and more accessible by creating highly sensitive, stable, and easy-to-use electrochemical sensors for a variety of applications, including vitamin D3 and cortisol detection.
