Made up of 23 talented engineering students, the 2024 TU Delft Hydro Motion Team is pushing the boundaries of maritime innovation. In just one year, it set out to design, produce, test and sail a foiling hydrogen-powered boat. The team’s objective: to be the first in the world to sail a fully hydrogen-powered foiling boat across the North Sea and demonstrate the viability of sustainable fuel sources as a solution for today, not just tomorrow.
