We Bring our Community Together

As a game-changer in sustainable technology and innovation, Dassault Systèmes strives to build more inclusive and diverse teams across the globe.

We believe that our people are our number one asset and we want everyone to feel empowered to bring their whole selves to work every day. Our aim is for everyone to feel a sense of pride in belonging and a passion for what we do. As a company leading change, it’s our responsibility to foster opportunities for all employees to be part of a harmonized workforce of the future.

Across the company, we have implemented inclusiveness policies and processes to give each employee equal opportunities in terms of responsibilities and career development.

Our Five Inclusion & Diversity Pillars

To support this commitment, we have created a Sustainability Committee, bringing together 3DS executives to drive our inclusion strategy and support our action plan. In addition, every year we celebrate our five Inclusion and Diversity pillars in many ways, and can count on our local Champions to support and create awareness both internally and externally.

Through the 3DS WIN (Dassault Systèmes Women's INitiative) global program, Dassault Systèmes commits to leveraging gender diversity across our organization to succeed in “harmonizing product, nature and life”. WIN is geared to positioning Dassault Systèmes as a key game changer for a sustainable and inclusive society. The program currently brings together close to 1,500 3DS women and men acting to promote gender diversity both internally and externally. Efforts include participating in events and mentoring initiatives that encourage girls and women to take up scientific careers and support women in their professional development.

Dassault Systèmes commits to long-term and increasingly inclusive disability policies through its sixth consecutive labor agreement. We also pay substantial attention to the wellbeing of our people by working with local inspiring speakers to raise awareness about mental health.

3DS is commited to building and maintaining a diverse workplace that welcomes the skills and talents of people with disabilities, both internally and externally. This is a place where everyone can contribute to the technology that we build, and this approach enriches our disability-inclusive culture.

Each country has its own action plan but here are some examples of our engagement:

The US PRIDE Committee

The US PRIDE Committee (Professionals Inspiring Dignity and Equality at Dassault Systèmes). The purpose of the PRIDE Committee is to:

  • Form a community for its members, friends, and allies that fosters LGBTQIA+ support, networking, mentoring, and learning.
  • Aid the company in its recruitment and retention efforts as an inclusive LGBTQIA+ organization.
  • Provide resources for Dassault Systèmes and its employees to help create a more inclusive work environment and appropriate company policies.

We partner with Stonewall to ensure we foster an inclusive workplace environment.

When I was applying for the job and mentioned I am trans, the response was, “If we hire you, you’ll be the third” [at that location].

And indeed I have been able to openly be myself and had support (sick leave and a sit-stand desk when I returned) for my surgery. I’m now actively involved with diversity initiatives. I am happy and proud to be part of such an environment.

3DS is a welcoming environment where all employees can bring their whole selves to work. Over the past few years I have been part of a Diversity Project Team that is driving change in our organization. I have helped support & lead a PRIDE group for LGBTQIA+ employees and for our allies. It is great experience and I feel supported by my leadership. My passion is to continue to learn, educate and improve diversity experiences so I can do better and help all employee groups feel safe and supported in their journey at 3DS.
