We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Working Student (m/f/d) – Software Engineer to join our team.

Circuits & Systems is a team within Dassault Systemes EMAG research and development organization. Our 3D electromagnetic simulation environment, the CST Studio Suite, combines our world class EM simulators with simulation management and circuit simulation capabilities. We are a highly innovative and motivated international team, working from different offices in Europe. One of our main challenges are the transformation process from native, stand-alone software packages into integrated apps of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and the incorporation of AI assisted simulation.

Role Description & Responsibilities

You will help to further modularize our software
You will reduce dependencies in code files
You will move code from larger code base into dedicated libraries
You will extend unit tests
You will test our program in LINUX environment
You will make adjustments in our new Python automation interface to make it even more powerful

Qualifications

You are currently studying Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar
You have programming experience in C++ and/or Python
You value clean and modular code
You are fluent in English
A plus: You have some experience with circuit simulation and circuit models or 3D Electromagnetic simulation tools
