User Assistance Developer

CATIA is the leading solution spanning the complete innovation and development processes to imagine, design, simulate new products and systems for impactful customer experiences toward a more sustainable world.

We are seeking a resource to become a part of the CATIA User Assistance Development Team based in Pune.

Role description & responsibilities

· Understand an app/functionality.

· Communicate with different stakeholders of the functionality (Developer, QA, and Product Manager) to understand their perspective on the functionality.

· Document the functionality in a simple language to make user understand the functionality.

· Follow the writing standards and styles recommended by organization.

· Maintain smooth flow and consistency in the writing.

· Documentation should be technically as well as grammatically correct.

· You will also be involved in making the User Interface (UI) user friendly.

· Review and edit the textual information present in the UI.

· It is desirable to have knowledge of the following tools:

· SharePoint Designer

· XMetaL Author, Oxygen XML Editor, or any other XML Authoring tool

· JIRA and Confluence

· Snagit, Camtasia, GIMP

· Usage of AI tools/Companion in technical writing domain

Qualifications

· 2-4 Years of experience in Technical Writing with BE/B. Tech

· Good command over English language & motivation and strong will

· Knowledge of any CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Creo etc. (Preferred)

· Engineering degree, preferably from Electronics or related streams

· Agile working methodologies

· Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI)

· Good communication skills.

· Excellent Analytical & problem-solving skills & should possess high learnability.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Manual of Style or Chicago Manual of Style is preferred.
