Structural Mechanics Consultant (F/M)

Your qualifications

•     Degree in an engineering discipline related to computational mechanics and industry experience, preferably a minimum of 2, 4, or 8 years for a PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree, respectively.

•     Advanced knowledge and experience with nonlinear mechanics of structures and solids under static and dynamic loads.

•     Experience performing implicit and explicit finite element simulations using commercial software such as Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, or Dyna.

•     Experience building models using commercial CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, or NX.

•     Effective use of C++, Python, or VBScript programming language for simulation automation.

•     Excellent presentation and communication skills, and comfortable discussing technical concepts with people of varying levels of knowledge and experience.

•     Fluency in verbal and written French and English.

Advantage:

Candidates with knowledge in any of the following topics are given an advantage.

•     Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

•     Multi-physics simulations, including Fracture, Fatigue, Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI), Acoustics, or Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD).

•     Development of simulation automation, optimization methods, and data management.

•     Simulation software such as Isight, Tosca, fe-safe, and Wave6.

•     Using Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE Platform for geometry creation and simulation model building.
