What will your role be?
As a SolidWorks Product Manager define and manage the SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE Apps / Roles and Portfolio in order to support Brand and industries growth plans, enhance market position, and grow market share by delivering the right value/capability/functionality for each users profile, using continuous market intelligence and listening to user feedback
IMAGINE
Analyze and understand the market (including competitive landscapes, trends/technologies, partners, etc. and propose the right product/business strategy based on market coverage. Points of Differentiation and Points of Parity.
Provide input to the SOLIDWORKS strategy team on the market segmentation, in order to define trends & SWOT, market opportunities, and risks
- Create and nurture relationships with customers, users, and prospects
- Build a 3 - year SOLIDWORKS strategy plan to support Brand and Industry growth plans
- Collaborate with Marketing Sales and the whole SOLIDWORKS ecosystem to ensure successful launch Support and influence Go - To - Market initiatives
Challenges Ahead:
CREATE
- Engineer and execute a rolling 18-monthly plan
- Collect customer’s scenarios and use cases to support a rolling 18 months plan and improve roles & applications
- Support key customer sales opportunities to promote products and portfolios and ensure customer success
- Manage the lifecycle of the roles portfolio
- Define the Packaging and Pricing for each role in collaboration with R & D development & Pricing teams
- Ensure strategic and organizational alignment to support new initiatives with Industry, R & D, Sales Marketing Operations, and Finance
PRODUCE
Assess and validate role readiness for launch as part of the implementation process in relation with R&D QA
Define Roles content and Apps requirements to allow a defined user to achieve his tasks during a working day eventually if relevant in the context of Industry Process Experiences.
Your Key Success Factors:
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering focusing on
- Mechatronics
- System design
- Strong background and hands-on experience related to
- System design
- Mechatronics design
- Control systems design
- Expert in the domain having the ability to drive using business approach and competitive landscape knowledge.
- Software product management, business development, and marketing experience desired
- User Experience & Business Value mindset oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills ..
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical subjects in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish, set and meet deadlines, and interact positively with employees at all levels, external vendors, resellers, prospects, and customers.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) .
- Experience in image/video recording and editing tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere , etc. preferred
- Experience in developing and launching SaaS-based products, and selling online. Inbound marketing, digital and social marketing, etc. preferred
