Role Description & Responsibilities:
- Join the Data Factory Team and take responsibility for developing internal Business Data Experience applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts across departments to ensure data supports their reporting and analytical needs.
- Build seamless interfaces between business intelligence systems and other business applications to enable timely and accurate data integration.
- Drive innovation by introducing tools, frameworks, and best practices to enhance data engineering processes and organizational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience with Python, Advanced Excel, Macros, Data Analytics, and HTML & CSS, SAP BODS and Oracle SQL Development. Knowledge of Universe Design and BO Reports Design is an added advantage.
Core Skills: - Strong proficiency in Python, Advanced Excel, Data Analytics, and HTML & CSS.
- Expertise in Oracle SQL Development (mandatory).
- Proficient in creating and optimizing SAP BODS ETL jobs to support various reporting requirements.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in Data Services jobs and schedules.
- Knowledge of creating and optimizing universes to enhance reporting frameworks.
- Familiarity with Business Objects Report development is a plus.
- Knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., Atomic, Windows Scheduler) is advantageous.
- Understanding of CRM, Sales, and Marketing technologies is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: - Strong communication and collaboration abilities to liaise with business stakeholders.
- Capability to gather requirements and create detailed technical documentation.
