Role Description and Responsibilities

Preferably based in South China in our Guangzhou or Shenzhen office

Execute on strategic pre-sales projects with fluid activities using Dassault Systèmes’ Fluids solutions to develop and present strong technical analysis and design recommendations to customers with real-world problems.

Provide sales teams guidance on technical capabilities and value to customers including for “Proof-of-Concept” projects to build confidence for new customer applications.

Develop and test simulation process improvements by working on benchmarks and feasibility studies.

Deploy Industry Process Experience to target customers to simulate more efficiently their complex systems and streamline their design process.

The Challenges Ahead

Provide specialized disciplines technical support to pre-sales on critical software engagements and high growth areas.

Capture and analyze customer business processes and business drivers through customer technical account management and act as a trusted advisor to customer through excellence in technical engagement.

Requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a directly related field with a specialization in fluid dynamics. 

Qualifications:

Five years of experience with the following:

  • Expertise in fundamental fluid mechanics with an understanding of its application through commercial Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes
  • Full understanding of kinetic theory and its application to Lattice Boltzmann methods (LBM) to model gas flow
  • Experience with aerodynamics,  thermal applications along with their applications through commercial CFD codes
  • Industry experience preparing geometry and meshing from CAD to obtain model used in a commercial CFD software
  • Familiarity with commercial CAE applications and how different tools on the market compare in term of performance and capabilities
  • Industry experience with LBM based commercial CFD tools preparing cases, running simulations and analyzing flow data
  • Familiarity with industry trend & Dassault Systèmes’ strategic solutions, such as AI(artificial intelligence), CATIA, MODSIM is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of UNIX environment and Python scripting
