Role Description & Responsibilities:
· Drive and manage DSGS SIMULIA Services projects and team in line with the SIMULIA HUB strategy and with the technical leaders
o Project management – Planning, Controlling and Monitoring .
o Process adherence, tracking of tasks to ensure project within scope, schedule and budget
o Risk management, escalation management, find and propose alternatives to resolve dependencies
· Manage & mentoring teams & hire
o Plan for teams’ ramp-up to enable them from “Capacity to Capability”
o Ensure cohesion in the team, develop a team spirit
o Training plans, hiring, product enablement for future offerings etc
· Stakeholders involved: Brand hubs leaders at DSGS, WW Hubs, Brand Hub Teams, R&D, DSGS, Services managers
o Effectively manage relationships with all internal stakeholders
o Business planning
· Hel to develop the business opportunity especially in INDIA:
o Collaborate with the GEO INDIA, Hubs for proposal building, estimations
Qualifications:
· Must have 15 -17 years’ experience
· Previous Project Manager extensive experience and existing project manager role within manufacturing / supply chain industry
· Master's degree in Engineering or Production, Manufacturing degree preferred
Preferred Skills:
· Understanding of either Structures, Fluids or Multi-body dynamics domain concepts.
· This includes familiarity with software development, infrastructure, and data management principles.
· Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation. Experience with project management tools.
· Ability to lead cross-functional teams, motivate team members, and drive project execution. This involves setting clear goals, providing direction, and resolving conflicts.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This includes preparing project documentation, status reports, and presentations.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions that keep projects on track. This involves being proactive and adaptable in addressing challenges as they arise.
· Ability to effectively manage relationships with internal stakeholders, such as product managers, developers, testers, and external stakeholders, such as clients or vendors. This includes managing expectations and providing regular updates on project progress.
· Commitment to continuous improvement by seeking feedback, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
· Understanding of the 3DS business context and objectives driving technology projects
