Senior Technical Revenue Recognition Analyst
Roles & Responsibilities:
Within the Corporate Finance Department, the Americas Revenue Recognition team is responsible for managing the revenue recognition topics for Dassault Systèmes across the North America and LATAM markets. With our worldwide headquarters based in Paris, France we are a global team that collaborates across geographies to drive value for the company.
You will join an enthusiastic and dynamic team that supports our sales forces in structuring commercial contracts to ensure that revenue recognition complies with international accounting standards (IFRS). In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including legal teams, sales support, and other accounting and finance departments.

Located in the 3DS Waltham campus on a “hybrid” basis, as a member of the Revenue Recognition team for the Americas scope, you will ensure the appropriate revenue recognition treatment for sales transactions in accordance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 and the Group Policy and will support the business during the negotiation of deals while optimizing the revenue recognition impacts for the company.
Your main missions will be to:
Review the deals in the sales pipeline in order to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with IFRS 15/ASC 606 and the Group Revenue Recognition policy
Prepare the review and the summary of the accounting treatment of the transactions closed at each quarter end
Identify all significant revenue recognition topics and areas where significant judgment is necessary for deals in negotiation, to derive conclusions or accounting options and to communicate them effectively and timely to Finance Management and other business partners
To work during deal negotiation with other Business Administration teams, pricing, legal and sales on the structure of the deals and to propose alternatives in deals structuring in order to achieve the best revenue results while ensuring compliance with IFRS15/ASC 606 requirements
Be a focal contact point for any topic related to the revenue recognition within the Group
Engage in the implementation and adherence of all necessary activities and procedures related to the Group “Order-to-Cash” process
To prepare requests for revenue adjustments to be booked by the Billing and Revenue Accounting team
To assist the Billing and Revenue Accounting team in the review or reconciliation of the revenue accounts and the related balance sheet accounts
To participate in Revenue Recognition Group projects aiming to improve and automate current processes and reporting
To participation in technical accounting guidance research for the development of new and/or clarification of the Group Revenue Recognition policy, as well as to monitor, research, and communicate any new guidance/recommendations applicable to 3DS revenue recognition.
To interact with the internal and external auditors and to coordinate responses to their requests
To provide trainings on the Revenue Recognition rules for other business partners/organizations of the Group when required
To participate in the due diligence and integration of acquired companies
Qualifications:
Graduated from a University with a bachelor’s degree specialized in Finance, Accounting or other related field, with 6 + years of relevant experience. You have a strong expertise of IFRS 15/ ASC 606 and a solid experience of its application, collaborating with sales teams and other business partners in structuring and guiding the creation of complex customer contracts from a revenue recognition perspective.
You are dynamic, curious, and have strong analytical skills while being clear, concise, and effective in your communication. Your ability to anticipate, your attention to detail, and your adaptability will enable you to thrive in a fast moving and evolving environment. You enjoy teamwork and are capable of collaborating with various teams on specific projects.
Expert of IFRS 15 and/or ASC 606 and revenue recognition related topics applied to business cases
Specific experience working in revenue recognition at (and/or auditing) software companies strongly preferred
Excellent communicator who shows effectiveness and assertiveness skills in verbal and written communications
Possesses strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Brings a positive attitude and strong team spirit, with the ability to collaborate and find common ground with business partners
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
Proactive, well organized, autonomous and adaptable team player
Strong skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other common business technology tools
CPA license (active or inactive), experience preparing revenue-related journal entries, exposure to common ERP systems and Revenue Accounting tools will all be considered a strong plus

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $118200 and $158600, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
