Our Team:
Medidata is looking for individuals who will help us tackle some of the most complex questions facing the industry today using our proprietary platform and advanced analytics. At Medidata, we never work alone. This role will partner heavily with all of the key stakeholder functions including product, delivery, data science, engineering, partnerships, and biostatistics. Successful Medidata AI candidates will be skilled in analytical/quantitative thinking, structured communication, and excited about building the next horizon of Medidata’s mission to power smarter treatments and healthier people.
Who We're Looking For:
Be a key member of a highly motivated, cross-competency team of biopharma data and technology experts delivering data management and analytics solutions to commercial stage biopharma companies
Core responsibilities include gathering and documenting requirements, defining and analyzing business rules, impact analysis, data validation rules, ensuring quality and communicating with the client and internal stakeholders
Position requires strong client-facing communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), and a proven ability to clearly articulate complex concepts
Perform data analysis to support data management application and customer inquiries
Contribute to project management activities by providing clear and concise status updates to external and internal stakeholders, including senior management
Proven quantitative skill set including experience with data and/or analytics in academic or professional setting
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
Combination of business, technical and analytical skill sets
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Requirements (Education & Experience):
0-3 years business analytics or consulting experience
Relevant academic or professional experience
Life sciences and data analysis exposure is a plus
Experience SQL or Tableau a plus
Working knowledge of common business software application is required

As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the Boston Metro Area is $78,000 to $104,000
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata’s non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
