Be the Next Game Changer
Imagine new horizons...
At NuoDB, we are energized by tough problems. Our goal is to be the leading distributed, horizontally scalable, cloud-native, SQL database for transactional and HTAP workloads for high-performance and mission-critical applications.
NuoDB is a high-performance, distributed, multi-cloud capable database. You will help to design and develop the NuoDB control plane, the system which will deploy and manage NuoDB databases (which are stateful) within Kubernetes for customers worldwide. You will leverage Helm, Operators, and the Kubernetes API.
We are looking for a skilled, collaborative, and highly motivated software engineer with Kubernetes and orchestration experience to join the Orchestration team in NuoDB (part of Dassault Systemes). You will be building a new DBaaS offering from the ground up, automating the deployment and operations of NuoDB running in Kubernetes across multiple clouds using the Dassault Systemes PaaS.
You enjoy a challenge?
Here at Dassault Systèmes, we empower people with passion to change the world. Let’s open new horizons together with the power of 3DEXPERIENCE virtual universes!
What will your role be?
You will work within a small but growing and highly collaborative team developing the administration and orchestration layers for NuoDB. You will learn how our administration layer and Helm-based Kubernetes deployment and day-2 operations (like backup) work, and build on them to help deliver a complete DBaaS solution that provides bulletproof deployment, management, and monitoring.
We are an agile team and believe in rigorous testing, thorough code review, and thoughtful engineering. Software engineers on the Orchestration team develop and orchestrate multiple distributed systems, providing plenty of opportunity both for discovering interesting, hard problems and for learning new skills.
