Your Mission:
The Strategic Planning Analyst will assist in shaping Dassault System’s strategy and game changer positioning in Healthcare. We’re looking for someone with a passion for innovation and a data-driven, pragmatic approach, capable of synthesizing complex information; engaging ad-hoc teams to explore and qualify market opportunities; and driving dedicated working groups to shape strategic recommendations specifically in life sciences.
Key contribution areas:
- Conduct market research (trends, competition, case-studies, benchmarks,…), generate financial models and business cases. Distill findings to inspire, challenge and guide strategic thinking
- Support business owners in strategic analysis, strategy formulation and development. Activities include: identifying and exploring emerging business opportunities, crafting and stress-testing potential strategic scenarios and formulating investment priorities
- Engage subject matter experts and facilitate workshops to foster collective intelligence and out-of-the-box thinking to rapidly develop strategic recommendations
- Play a key role in running Sector strategy operations with a focus on long term growth: prepare monthly governance meetings and executive committee reviews, coordinate and ensure high-quality content, capitalize and disseminate key insights, decisions and methodologies
- Proactively address operational issues to enhance efficiency and focus

Your Education & Experience:
- BS required (Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Health Science, Public Health, etc.) , MBA preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in an analytical role, with a preference for management/healthcare consulting or investment banking
- Deep life sciences & healthcare industry knowledge
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata’s non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
