Sales Mediation Specialist
Role Description & Responsibilities
Our NAM License Compliance team is looking for a Sales Mediation Specialist. We are looking to fill this role in Waltham, MA, Providence, RI, or San Diego, CA.
The NAM Sales Mediation Specialist will be responsible for supporting the work of protecting Dassault Systemes' Intellectual Property while contributing to the success of channel sales in North America. This will be done by engaging in activities that result in the generation of leads and opportunities involving non-compliant companies and individuals who agreed to purchase DS software. This person will resolve license compliance matters arising from the illegal and unauthorized use of our software.
Resolve license compliance matters amicably by engaging directly with customers and prospects, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
Negotiate agreements that optimize results while safeguarding Dassault Systèmes’ intellectual property and contributing to channel sales growth.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the License Compliance, Sales, and Legal teams, as well as value-added resellers, to generate new business opportunities.
Document and track case activities, maintaining detailed records and producing periodic reports for forecasting and performance monitoring.
Leverage CRM systems and digital tools to manage customer interactions effectively and improve mediation processes.
Provide insights on recurring compliance trends to help shape proactive strategies and preventive initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in sales and/or software solutions, with exposure to negotiation and compliance topics.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with proven ability to manage complex and sensitive conversations professionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
High emotional intelligence and resilience to navigate challenging discussions with tact and professionalism.
Investigative mindset with curiosity and creativity to analyze cases, identify patterns, and propose tailored solutions.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
Familiarity with intellectual property and software licensing concepts is a strong plus.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $28 and $31 per hour.
