What will your role be?

Dassault Systèmes’ Sales organization is growing.  Our ambition is to provide growth opportunities for those starting their career and excited to take on new adventures.  The Sales Associate position is a role that will give you the opportunity to contribute to our success:  Successfully generate pipeline for assigned accounts to increase Dassault Systèmes presence in key industries/clients and grow revenue on a mid and long-term basis.

You will report to the 3DS Brands Sales Leader, and receive mentorship and guidance from a variety of senior professional facilitating your ramp-up and development.  This will expose you on how to develop a marketing plan and foster understanding of the customer challenges.  You will engage in pipeline development activities for assigned customers, and validate leads and opportunities with the client team. In this role, you will be working with a broad range of senior sales executives and give you the opportunity to touch various industries and/or domains that we address, thus providing valuable experiences for your professional development.

The Challenges Ahead

  • Deliver market development plans for strategic accounts with the contribution of Dassault Systèmes’ ecosystem and consistent with our sales process.
  • Contribute to the relationship and outcome of assigned accounts.
  • Conduct qualifying conversations with prospects in a consultative approach by phone to determine business needs, budget, and timeline
  • Use multiple tactics to engage with new accounts: social selling, phone, and email
  • Respond to inbound inquiries generated by website content and marketing campaigns
  • Support execution of Account Based Marketing campaigns as part of a cross-functional team
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Dassault Systèmes’ solutions, services, industries and workflows
  • Leverage internal and external training resources to develop and expand your business development skill set

Your Key Success Factors

  • Engineering or related science degree preferred.  Business degree considered
    • MBA an asset
  • Limited experience in engineering related fields and/or technical sales suitable, ideally this would be your 1st or 2nd role in a sales field.
    • Internship experience will also be considered
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve objectives following established processes and methodologies with little supervision or guidance
  • Self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn, collaborate and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
  • Comfortable delivering on key business targets (Pipeline, Sales…) with competing deadlines
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication in English & Negotiation Skills.
  • Ability to develop and cultivate internal and external relationships to progress your business objectives
  • Strong functional use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of CRM is a plus
  • Comfortable presenting complex notions in easily digestible content to audiences with various levels of knowledge
  • Knowledge of industry specific manufacturing, design or processes is an asset
  • Confident interacting and presenting to a variety of internal and external stakeholders, up to the executive ranks
  • A growth mindset – Someone who believes that they will be able to work out any problem.
  • Target orientated – has a lot of energy, is resilient, and is driven by hitting/exceeding targets
