RelOps Engineering Specialist (InstallShield):

In our ENOVIA R&D India organization, we are seeking an experienced candidate with InstallShield knowledge. In this role, you first need to understand existing product application installations developed with various InstallShield levels. You need to understand build processes developed by automating InstallShield builds which cater various releases. This involves automation developed using InstallShield APIs, batch scripting, C# .Net. You will work with development teams to understand new installation requirements and implementing those in product release cycles.

Role description & responsibilities :

●         Build generation using InstallShield build process.

●         Troubleshooting installation issues.

●         Changing existing InstallShield projects release to release.

●         Migrating InstallShield projects to new release levels, fixing issues in migration.

●         Source Code compilation in MSBuild.

●         Troubleshooting MSBuild compilation issues.

●         Understand existing automation of InstallShield build activities, modifying as per requirements.

●         Managing and upgrading tools developed in C# .Net , batch scripting.

●         Work with Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to analyze user needs, business goals, and tasks and implement same.
