We are currently hiring for a Release Operations Manager to come in each day with one mission and be the guardian of the code deployment process. They will work with other functional departments to gather, organize, plan, and communicate a comprehensive plan of action for releasing the software to our clients, while simultaneously leading the charge in finding the delicate balance that is shipping software fast, often, and of high quality.
What will your role be?
Coordinate and work with Engineers and Product Owners to plan and release full software release and quantitated hot fixes
Manage others day to day responsibilities
Coordinates with Leads and Product Development Managers before, during, and after a release to ensure the release is as of high quality as possible.
Design, deliver & run Lean and Sustainable Release Factory Services & Processes. Ensure excellence of execution, in order to produce Release deliverables on time and on quality
Assists in creating, maintaining, and communicating software release schedule.
Works with the product team to determine release scope and timelines in order to map out the release lifecycle in product development.
Assists with creating and maintaining a release communication system with all appropriate departments.
Provides day-of-release coordination and communication.
Attends interdepartmental meetings when appropriate.
Assists with creating and maintaining a critical issues procedure.
Notifies the correct stakeholders when software releases or updates have issues.
Tracks and analyzes all code deploys and deployment issues and shares metrics with the product development management team.
Works with the DevOps and Architecture teams to develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.
Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs.
Works with the appropriate departments to produce the shippable DVD/FTP files for official release and validate files.
Continually works towards making improvements in the release process.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Key Success Factors?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and/or comparable experience preferred.
2+ years of Experience in Management- Preferred
1-5 years’ Experience working with issue tracker tools (Jira, Azure Devops, etc.)- required
1-5 years’ Experience with GIT source control
Experience with CICD is required
Experience with Delphi, C#, SQL, PowerShell, Angular- preferred
Experience with the ability to read codes
1-5 years’ Experience working in an Agile environment
Advanced troubleshooting knowledge
Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
Project Management / Coordination experience
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with customers and associates at all levels, including management
Ability to work in a fast pace environment and deliver under pressure
Must be detail-oriented with ability to adjust in a dynamic environment
English proficiency is required
