QA - CAD Interoperability

As a QA-CAD Interoperability, join the Spatial team at Dassault Systèmes.

Role description & responsibilities

  • Develop expertise on usage of industry standard CAD modelers like Inventor, Creo, Solid Edge, Smart3D

  • Understand the industry usage of domains such as Mechanical CAD, Architectural CAD, Plant Design, AEC, BIM

  • Monitor and validate the performance of CAD translation tests

  • Validation of customer reported issues after they are fixed by development

  • Developing understanding of BRep & Geometry, PMI, Design Data in CAD Modeling domain, Acquire automation skills, Learning scripting languages

Qualifications

  • 1 to 5 years with Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Production)

  • Experience in the area of software testing

  • Experience of working with popular CAD packages (CATIA, SolidWorks, Pro/E, UG-NX etc.)

  • Experience with at least one scripting language (Shell, Python, Perl, LISP, Scheme, VBA, JavaScript)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Background in CAD, CAM, CAE, FEA, AM and other engineering fields

  • Programming with VBA

  • Programming with C / C++
