Roles & Responsibilities

As an Industry Services (IS) Project Manager (PM) to manage project execution and services delivery of customer facing services projects, and to promote sustainable services business with these DS customers, by following DS methodologies and processes.

You’ll be expected to -

     Have already accumulated 10+ years of PLM services experiences, and extensively engaged in solution definition, development & implementation, application support, and technical / delivery management for more than 5 full cycle PLM projects

     Have practiced in project management for more than 5 years, and well recognized from field achievements (past career records) and academic credentials (PMI PMP, PRINCE2, …)

     Focus on High Tech and / or Transportation & Mobility industries, and know well about core business processes of such an industry

     Familiar with at least one of the world class PLM vendors’ solutions and technology

     Have 3+ years of working experiences in contexts of cross-nations and cultures and adequate communication capabilities in English

     Engineering or Science graduates (master, or bachelor with 12+ years of industrial experiences)

Your main works include -

     Manage 3DEXP platform based services delivery projects, and be accountable for the project success by ensuring quality delivery of services and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction

     Apply DS project management methodology and best practices to effective management of project KPI achievements (business outcomes, delivery quality, project timing, financial, …)

     Identify, analyze and report in a timely manner project status & progress, major risks & issues under IS PMO’s supervision; proactively propose, align (with internal & external stakeholder) and take corrective / preventive measures to improve project achievements and performance

     Lead, motivate and coordinate project team members’ efforts to ensure efficient collaborations among different DS business units and the joint project team (with customer & partners)

     Manage the target customer and / or customer project oriented business cooperation with C&SI and services partners

     Assist IS Services Business Partner (and DS account team) with services business development activities

What will be your Challenge?

In a nutshell, the most critical challenge of an IS PM is to demonstrate your strong leadership by driving people and processes and getting things done, in order to meet business objectives with project achievements.

Day-by-day challenges include but not limited to the following -

     Understand key stakeholders’ concerns and requirements, and help them with identification & implementation of viable proposals

     Negotiate with customer about project governance model and management routines to develop case specific project management practices

     Integrate and manage diversified technologies, resources and services from different DS business units (WW vs. local, sales / tech-sales / services, brands, CoE, …) and also that from any potential 3rd parties

     Communicate clearly and effective with many internal and external stakeholders per the agreed communication strategy & communication plan

     Identify and escalate in a proper way project risks and issues

     Make project decisions with technical / management support to lead a large group of project team members to progress towards aligned project objectives

     Motivate and develop your project team members, manage their project performance and morale, and control the potential behavior centric damages

     Travel frequently to the locations of customer facilities

Qualifications

     The strong willing to lead & drive, and the establishment of trustworthy relationships to co-win with your customer & co-workers

     Profound and extensive PLM services related knowledge and domain experiences

     Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening, …) in Chinese and English

     Excellent interaction skills (leadership & influencing, facilitation, teamwork, negotiation & conflict resolution)

     Analytical thinking and problem solving competence

     Proficiency in productivity tools & technology and proficiency in project management tools & technology

     Understanding of 3DS company, products and technologies

     Understanding of your customer’s industry and core business contexts
