Dassault Systèmes is recruiting a Middle Office & Category Sourcing and Procurement Operations Support Manager for all currently 22 Business Units across various countries in EMEAR International, located in our office in Cambridge/England, reporting into the strategic Procurement Director EMEAR International, who is based in Munich/Germany.

What will your role be?

  • Your role will contribute to implement Strategy Enablement and the Middle Office strategy/roadmap within EMEAR by managing transformation and multi-layered projects while simultaneously supporting Sourcing Category Managers.
  • You will be responsible for procurement operations for to be defined stakeholders and categories.
  • You will collaborate closely with members across Strategy Enablement & Middle Office team in HQ, Sourcing category managers and Purchase-to-Pay team in EMEAR

The challenge ahead

As a member of the Procurement, Strategy Enablement and Middle Office team, your mission will include the following:

  • Support WW roadmap implementation and participate in EMEAR´s project roadmap definition.
  • Drive various transformation projects that will help harmonize, streamline processes and improve efficiencies
  • Coordinate and execute the integration of Newly Acquired Companies within 3DS Procurement: GAP-analysis, define convergence plan, coordinate operations, deploy 3DS Policies, operational processes, train and embark all new stakeholders.
  • Implement supplier risk framework (incl. supplier monitoring) and procurement sustainability strategy within EMEAR
  • Support Sourcing Category Managers to build their yearly strategy and spend analysis!
  • Ensure effective – TARGETED - Sourcing performance tracking, analysis and reporting to improve and increase spend under management (SUM), to concentrate, leverage, optimize and REDUCE the Vendor-base, as well as to monitor Savings and Sourcing projects
  • Work on communication and training initiatives to ensure compliance and implementation of 3DS Global Procurement Policy
  • Identify relevant framework & processes for Sourcing Category manager and provide useful content and materials to support their daily activities
  • Manage content and activities by leveraging 3DEXPERIENCE Platform dashboards, communities – gain transparency across categories and countries
  • Ensure an accurate contract management across the GEO and support all Sourcing Category managers, to archive and accurately manage timelines within the existing contract management tool (LEX).
  • Manage procurement operations for to be defined stakeholders and categories and the concerned procurement process
  • Support or even manage smaller sized Category Sourcing projects.

Your key success factors:

  • Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay processes
  • Planning, Organizational & Project Management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across multicultural teams
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal,  written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable qualification preferred
  • First category sourcing experience in one or more of the following categories is a plus:  HR Services,  Professional Services, Marketing/Event Management, IT or Facility Management
  • Expertise or knowledge of purchasing tools such as PurchasingCard, Supplier Diversity, eProcurement
  • First user experience and competence in using integrated ERP software, such as PeopleSoft+, Workday or Ariba is a plus
  • Creative and strategic thinker possessing strong problem solving skills.
  • Must be proactive, exhibit continuous improvement mindset, and an ability to affect change and build consensus.
  • Able to work comfortably with all levels of the organization (including top levels) in a global environment.
  • Expert MS Office skills, emphasis on Excel and ability to complete complex spend or data analysis upon which business decisions will be based on.
  • Presentation skills, especially in dealing with various levels of management.
