We are looking for an IPC Fluid Consultant Intern to join our WW Fluid team using cutting-edge solution in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of fluid dynamics, with a focus on Steady state and transient flow modeling. The position is located in our office in Warwick.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

Demonstrations using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and the SIMULIA Fluids toolset
Development and validation of methodologies and simulation approaches
Assist in the development of new CFD methodologies and workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and application scope
Building expertise in aero, AAC, thermal applied to complex industrial projects
Analyze simulation results, interpret data, and provide actionable insights to support engineering decisions
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and product management, to align simulation results with project objectives
Effective communication through realistic visualizations
Attending meetings to define requirements/deliverables

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on fluid mechanics and CFD
Solid understanding of the principles of fluid dynamics, particularly CFD
Theoretical knowledge of Navier-Stokes and LBM (Lattice-Boltzmann Method) CFD codes
Experience with CFD software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, PowerFLOW) is highly desirable
Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and experience in geometry preparation for CFD analysis
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize complex data
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++) for scripting and automation is a plus
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Fluent in technical English
