Role Descriptions & Responsibilities

The Spatial NAM TAM team works at the intersection of advanced engineering software, customer success, and emerging technology. Our team supports prospects and customers learning about Spatial’s 3D software components, including geometry modeling, data translation, visualization, and engineering workflow solutions. TAMs collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, R&D, and Leadership teams to help evaluate, deploy, and maximize the value of Spatial technologies. This internship offers exposure to real-world enterprise software environments, customer-facing technical strategy, and next-generation trends such as AI-assisted engineering workflows.

As an intern for the TAM team, you will support the TAM organization through research, technical analysis, internal tooling, and customer success initiatives. Responsibilities will include:

· Evaluating AI tools relevant to engineering software

· Assisting with product demonstrations

· Helping organize technical documentation

· Conducting market and competitive research

· Supporting internal automation projects

The purpose of the role is to provide hands-on experience in a modern software technology organization while developing skills in customer engagement, technical communication, and practical application of Spatial's products.

Qualifications

· Current student or recent academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline

· Demonstrated interest in modern technology trends, particularly artificial intelligence, software development, and technical problem solving

· Familiarity with programming concepts such as Python, JavaScript, C++, APIs, or data workflows is desirable

· Strong communication skills, curiosity, professionalism, and willingness to learn in a collaborative business environment are important

· Interest in customer-facing technical roles, consulting, or bridging business and engineering teams is highly valued.

Salary Pay Transparency

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $22 and $40 per hour.
