Roles and Responsibilities 
This is a 6-month, full time paid co-op, with flexible start date in 2024. This internship is based at the Dassault Systemes Simulia Corp office located at 5181 Natorp Boulevard, Suite 205, Mason, OH 45040.

Focus would be on component improvements and quality:

  1. Support our web based components by:
    1. Implementing identified enhancements
    2. Interactively testing using internal and customer models. This includes documenting bugs and potential user experience enhancements
    3. Writing test cases to detect regressions
  2. Support our native components by:
    1. Write/update test cases to improve our code coverage percentage
    2. Re-record test cases so that we can remove old versioning code
  3. Participate in mini-tests
  4. Possibly fix bugs (IRs) to bring our numbers down
  • Qualifications  

    • Actively enrolled in a college or university for the duration of the internship
    • Coding experience in one or two programing languages (Javascript, json, C++)
    • Takes direction and guidance from others, adopts and develops best practices and navigates around obstacles creatively
    • Highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change
    • Exhibits strong organizational skills and detail orientation
    • Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure
