INTERNSHIP – 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers User Advocacy/Community

Role Description & Responsibilities

Our Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers Team is excited to announce new positions available in our Waltham, MA office!

You will join an ambitious, small team of smart marketing professionals at SOLIDWORKS in support of executing marketing initiatives for 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers, which is sold online only. You will support specific marketing initiatives created to drive adoption and use of the product.

Working with our team, your primary focus will be on the following projects (among other marketing initiatives) related to driving online sales and use of 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers:

  • Exclusive program for makerspace members: All members of makerspaces can access 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers at no cost.
  • Your role will be to research and engage with partners that have knowledge and connections with makerspaces worldwide. You will engage directly with makerspace members to promote this offer and provide access to it.
  • You will track, manage and report on data related to the adoption of this offer by makerspace members. You will also help with nurturing activities for users that were accepted into the program and those that were not
  • Supporting the creation of organic social media content on a weekly basis.  


  • Photoshop experience (required)
  • Video creation/editing support (required)
  • Google analytics (if you are not familiar with Google Analytics, you will learn how to use it in this role).
  • Microsoft office - excel, word, power point.
  • Social media.
  • Writing skills are a plus.
  • Strong team player with ability to work effectively as an individual contributor.
  • Strong project management/ability to work within established deadlines for deliverables
    with effective follow up if needed to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Go getter! Motivated to learn, ambition to drive results and achieve goals.
  • Ability to shift directions quickly when priorities change.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work onsite for a minimum of 3 days a week.
