SIMULIA has an opening for an Industry Process Specialist - Structures, a highly skilled and motivated candidate to join the Industry Process Success (IPS) team. You will develop new simulation methodologies/processes, support customer deployment and services to maintain and expand existing workflows using SIMULIA’s Structure solutions.

The ideal candidate should be able to develop solutions using the SIMULIA Structure applications, present and demonstrate these solutions at various forums, and drive proof of concept projects, become the trusted advisor to the WW field teams, technical teams, Industries and Sales Channels, supporting them with SIMULIA Product expertise through all phases of the sales cycle.

Role Description:

· Drive customer engagements to address their business transformation by re-engineering their processes, leveraging the Industry processes on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform for structural simulation workflows

· Build a thorough understanding of customer’s “as-is” workflows and requirements

· Create new “to-be” simulation process for improved productivity and Optimizing product designs

· Validate simulation results by comparison with measurement data or experiments

· Develop Go-to-Market, prototypes and/or proof of concept implementations

· Document the simulation processes and results in clear and comprehensive reports

· Engage in cross-disciplinary projects, collaborate with other teams such as design and structures

· Use SIMULIA software tools such as Abaqus, Fe-Safe, Tosca and applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform to develop and support structural workflows

· Collaborate with various teams across GEO’s, R&D and sales teams to ensure software quality through feedback

· Validate the latest features in SIMULIA’s structural analysis software

Qualifications:

· M.Tech/ M.E degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with a focus on structural simulation & product design

· 0 - 3 years of experience in Structures simulation and solid mechanics in an industrial or research environment with expert knowledge

Required Skills:

· In-depth knowledge on Finite Element Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, Material Modeling and Numerical Methods

· Proficiency and thorough hands-on experience on Abaqus for Structures simulation

· Hands on experience with any preprocessing software like Hypermesh, Ansa

· Experience and knowledge of existing methodologies in modeling and simulation

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team environment.

· Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly

Helpful Skills:

· Expertise and Hands on experience in programming languages such as VB, Python

· Proficiency and thorough hands-on experience with solvers like LS-DYNA, ANSYS or Nastran

· Hands on experience with any CAD software such as CATIA, Solidworks
