Role Description and Responsibilities:
Develop the DELMIA Virtual Factory business, especially with our SolidWorks partners in NAM:
- Support them technically for key customer engagements and marketing events, position and demonstrate the DELMIA 3DEXPERIENCE Virtual Factory solution
- Create Training content and give them training sessions
- Create and share Sales and Technical Assets (solution presentation and demonstrations, Best Practices…)
- Understand the Digital Twin market needs for 3D Layout, Equipment and Factory Flow Simulation (discrete events), Virtual Commissioning and Control Tower, discuss with DELMIA R&D team to orient the development of our solution
The Industry Process Consultant's mission is to reveal and demonstrate to customers how to maximize the value of the Industry Process portfolio by applying the Value Engagement framework. He/she drives customers to address their business transformation by re-engineering their processes, leveraging 3DEXPERIENCE platform Industry Processes.
Role Description:
The Industry Process Consultant is responsible for:
- Pre-Sales activities: prepare and give demonstrations, answer RFPs, ensure POCs and support for our key existing customers, together with our partners
- Post-sales activities: coach and support our partners and customers, customization.
- Training and enabling our eco-system: DS colleagues (Geos, Industries, Services), partners (VARs and C&SI), prepare and give training sessions, define the correct methodologies, support our partners
- Supporting Marketing events, create Sales assets (demonstrations, videos, presentations)
- Focusing on DELMIA Virtual Factory: Plant Layout Designer (PLA), Factory Simulation Engineer (EFS),
- Expanding also to other DELMIA topics such as Equipment Simulation, Ergonomics, Process Engineering, Virtual Commissioning, Operations Experience (IOT), Virtual Reality etc.
- Promoting the full 3DExperience solution
- Mastering 3DEXPERIENCE platform usage and value through Industry Processes. He/she understands how the products fulfill the business needs. The Industry Process Consultant contributes to increasing the deal size, accelerate deal signature and secures successful go-live.
- Articulating the overall 3DEXPERIENCE platform value.
- Contributes to the execution of the Value Engagement activities and deliverables, according to the different phases, with a specific focus on gate reviews.
- Articulating value, based on identified KPIs and KVIs, using storylines based on the Customer Value Model and adapting them to the audience, whether it is a User, a Process Owner or a Business Owner
- The Industry Process Consultant:
- closely collaborates with the DS internal ecosystem
- maintains best in class level of expertise
- capitalizes on-field activities
- provides feedback loop from customer use cases
- supports the Solution enablement of their Partners and Sales Ecosystem.
- maximizes the usage of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform for interaction with the customer and Dassault Systemes ecosystem
Qualifications
3 years of related experience
Master of Sciences in manufacturing engineering or similar experience.
Background in plant layout, discrete event simulation, 3D simulation and Digital Twin in general
Hard Skills
- Advanced knowledge on Virtual Factory domain: 2D and 3D Layout, , discrete event simulation (Theory and Practice), manufacturing engineering (lean manufacturing, “just in time” manufacturing,... ), 3D simulation (kinematics)
- Knowledge on Simulation software, ideally on DELMIA
