DELMIA Quintiq, part of Dassault Systèmes, is now looking for a Supply Chain Planning and Optimization Consultant for its Services team in Finland or Sweden.

Are you ready to constantly develop and challenge yourself? The 3DS Graduate Program is a 12-month development program and the perfect start of your career! The Graduate Program starts September 2023. The role will be based in Sweden or Finland. 

What will your role be?

As an Industry Process Consultant Supply Chain Graduate you will join a professional team and be coached by senior colleagues. This is a chance to learn about Dassault Systèmes products, to gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs and processes.

As a Consultant, you will help market-leading organizations to implementing Supply Chain Planning & Optimization (SCP&O) solutions which enable them to solve very complex planning puzzles and improve business results. Game-changing approach to SCP&O is a big part of why you’ll enjoy the role. Customers in a wide range of industries love also the way our solutions drive significant improvements in KPIs, and deliver quick returns.

You will work with colleagues around the world in virtual teams. Some domestic and international travel to customer sites and other Dassault Systèmes offices will be required.

What does an Industry Process Consultant do?

  • Assess customer opportunity in regards of feasibility, value and risk.
  • Contribute together with the business consultant to capture customer business processes.
  • Challenge customer business processes in regard of value creation and business transformation.
  • Define workflow and methods leveraging 3DS best practices to support customer business objectives, highlighting committed value, and taking extra care of feasibility and delivery effort.
  • Leverage collaboration between 3DS organization for project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the activities around solution design, documentation and defining functional requirements with the DELMIA Quintiq development team.
  • Support DELMIA Quintiq development team with creating the necessary scenarios for testing the solution against the solution design.
  • Train customer in the use of their new SCP&O solutions.
  • Lead validation activities for the client’s solution by supporting the customer team on defining and executing scenarios for testing the solution against the client’s requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager on implementation methodology, activities and timeline.

Your key success factors

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as industrial engineering, operations research, econometrics, mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science
  • Recent graduates are welcome to apply
  • High abstraction and analytical ability
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages
  • Customer orientated and driven to achieve results
  • An entrepreneurial attitude and committed to questioning the current thinking.
  • Fluent in both local language and English
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling & Optimization
  • Knowledge of metals, manufacturing (sales & operations planning, demand planning, MPS, scheduling), rail or logistics industry, aviation or workforce planning
  • Knowledge of mathematical optimization techniques in operations research and artificial intelligence (linear programming, genetic algorithms, heuristic search)
  • Familiarity with data modeling in relational databases, data communication (ODBC, SOAP, JMS)
