Role Description:

  • Execute on strategic pre-sales projects with fluid activities using Dassault Systèmes’ Fluids solutions to develop and present strong technical analysis and design recommendations to customers with real-world problems
  • Build your understanding of customer’s workflows and requirements
  • Modeling and setup of simulation models
  • Validating simulation results by comparison with measurement data or experiments
  • Optimizing product designs and processes using the simulation results
  • Provide sales teams guidance on technical capabilities and value to customers including for “Proof-of-Concept” projects to build confidence for new customer applications.
  • Develop and test simulation process improvements by working on benchmarks and feasibility studies.
  • Develop Go-to-Market, prototypes and/or proof of concept implementations to validate with measured data
  • Documenting the simulation processes and results in clear and comprehensive reports
  • Engage in cross-disciplinary projects, collaborating with other teams such as design and structures
  • Collaborate with various teams across GEO’s, R&D and sales teams to ensure software quality through feedback

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in fundamental fluid mechanics with an understanding of its application through commercial Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes
  •  Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics principles and CFD concepts
  • Working knowledge with any simulation tools like PowerFLOW Suite (preferable), ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, STAR-CCM+, or any other commercial tool
  • Industry experience preparing geometry and meshing from CAD to obtain model used in a commercial CFD software
  • Hands on with any preprocessing software like HyperMesh, ICEM-CFD, Ansa, etc.
  • Hands on with any CAD software such as CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Creo, UGNX etc.
  • Understanding of programming languages such as VB, Python etc. is added advantage
  • Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning is added advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly

    Qualifications:

    • M.Tech/ M.E degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with a focus on computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
    • 3-5 years of experience in conducting and evaluating CFD and thermal simulations in an industrial or research environment
    • Experience in validating simulation results through comparison with measurement data or experiments
    • Knowledge of optimizing product designs and processes using CFD and thermal simulations
