HR Specialist, People Support

Our Human Resources (HR) Team is looking for a HR Specialist, People Support. We are looking to fill this position in Waltham, MA. This is a hybrid position.
The HR Specialist will provide support across several business units and countries, focusing on process, policy and general operations. This role will manage various transactional operations related to employee lifecycle activities.
- Manage and facilitate onboarding paperwork, activities, and employment authorization processes including I-9, E-Verify, and Employment Verification
- Lead Day 1 Onboarding Experience including conducting orientation
- Update and maintain personnel files
- Act as the primary point of contact for all employees through internal request system
- Complete timely and accurate processing of HR transactions such as new hire/termination information, personal data, compensation performance and personnel action changes
- Keep all trackers and documents up to date in real time
- Ensure complete accuracy, confidentiality and compliance for all shared drives, vendor sites and internal systems
- Partner with internal teams to support HR initiatives and operations, including HR Business Partners, payroll, finance, purchasing, compensation and talent acquisition
Participate in team projects, both big and small including internal audits and cross functional project groups within HR
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in an HR or customer service environment
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Effective Relationship Building Skills
- Adaptability and Change Management Skills
- Experience/Interest in learning/utilizing AI
- Effective Presentation Skills
- Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with HRIS systems a plus

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $55000 and $65000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
