Join our Generative 3D MODSIM R&D Team as a Software Developer and help shape the next generation of Generative Design technology within Dassault Syst�s. You will bridge cutting-edge AI techniques with Finite Element Simulation and Multiphysics Optimization, driving innovation that redefines how engineers design the products of tomorrow.

 

Role Description & Responsibilities
 

As part of our CATIA Function Driven Generative Design and SIMULIA Structural Generative Engineer portfolios, you will be at the forefront of combining advanced, latest AI-technologies such as Surrogate Models with Numerical Optimization techniques to accelerate the design process and to extend the scope for Performance Driven Optimization / Design. 
Your work will directly impact customers, ensuring Dassault Syst�s remains a technological leader in performance-driven engineering and generative design.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching, designing, and implementing AI-driven methods and methods for Structural Optimization and Simulation for the next generation of technology.
  • Translating user and product management requirements into functional specifications and development plans
  • Coding and testing advanced algorithms in C++, Python, or similar languages
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new software capabilities
  • Staying ahead of emerging trends in AI applications in engineering and Finite Element Analysis, Multiphysics and Structural optimization
  • Maintain and extend world-leading solutions based on market and customer requirements
  • Contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within a globally distributed team

Your Qualifications

 

  • Demonstrated experience with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, including working with surrogate models and related technologies.
  • Master�s degree or PhD in Mathematics, Mechanical/civil engineering with strong experience in research work (or equivalent degree and experience).
  • Experience with goal-oriented execution of research projects.
  • Programming experience with C++ or other programming languages (Python or Java).
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art finite elements or optimization within structural or electromagnetic, or related areas.
  • Prepared to work with an internationally distributed team.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
