Your Mission:

In this role, you’ll have oversight of key marketing & sales initiatives and tactics that lead to sales pipeline at the top of the funnel and ultimately sales support activities through the bottom of the funnel. You will collaborate with colleagues in demand marketing and sales to develop and execute integrated programs and campaigns that utilize inbound and outbound strategies and tactics to build awareness, create pipeline, nurture leads and drive overall revenue growth

At Medidata you will:

  • Work with demand marketing and sales to build project roadmaps, strategies, and execution plans to create pipeline
  • Support both broadly targeted campaigns and hyper-focused ABM campaigns targeting top enterprise prospect accounts
  • Deeply understand and quickly react to changes in performance and share learnings and results with other teams
  • Constantly be testing new approaches and ideas to optimize key performance metrics
  • Ensure productive lead hand-offs and gather feedback on prospect quality, iterating as needed
  • Isolate highly targeted sub-segments of customers and prospects for outbound efforts, leveraging analytics, intent data, and market intelligence
  • Identify gaps in our contact database and work with Marketing Operations to execute contact acquisition efforts by job title, level, geography, industry, account etc.
  • Work closely with our Business Development and sales team on program training activities, lead follow-up, and process steps required to track and optimize program performance

Your Competencies: 

  • Proactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative and critical thinking; proven ability to think strategically, with exceptional attention to detail in execution
  • Analytical and uses data insights to optimize marketing programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing tools, processes, and execution of workflows in order to define, track, and report KPIs for sales & marketing program activities
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills to bring together stakeholders from disparate functional groups to enable program creation, support, and execution
  • This person must be very comfortable with data manipulation (using Salesforce, Excel, and/or Google Sheets) and be highly analytical
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously

Your Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of B2B marketing/sales operations, demand generation, or marketing program role supporting a direct sales force; or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience using pipeline building strategies and tactics
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach.io is a huge plus
