The Employee Engagement and Site Coordinator is responsible for executing local events and operations at the 3DS Providence Site, specific to employee engagement, site administration, and for supporting the SIMULIA leadership team based in Providence. Must be proactive, creative, and organized, with excellent communication skills, able to work across all functions (HR, Facilities, Security, Finance, IT, Marketing, R&D, Legal, Sales, and Customer Support) as well as with customers and other third parties. Must be quick to react and able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

What your role will be?
This role has three main components: (1) Employee Engagement, (2) Site Administration, and (3) Leadership Team Assistance.

Employee Engagement. He/she must be able to propose and execute from start to finish, local employee engagements and events. Responsible for the campus online community, promoting corporate wide initiatives locally, and coordinating campus wide meetings. Responsible for associated budget and purchasing. He/she must also be able to work with other local teams including Green Team, Women’s Network, Volunteer Committee, Sport Groups, and the like, for one common view of activities across campus.

Site Administration. He/she will also be responsible for overseeing the customer center operations including customer meetings and training. Responsible for helping with visiting employees and executives, overseeing meeting and event function space, and proposing local campus improvements. Help with new hire onboarding and intern program. Work closely with Site Leader on communications, budget, and more.

Leadership Team Assistance. Provides seamless administrative assistance, requiring independent judgment, professionalism, and discretion to the SIMULIA leadership team based in Providence, and supports other top-level executives during their travel to the Site.

The Challenges ahead

  • Define employee engagement strategies
  • Create a pipeline of ideas for employee events to be selected for implementation
  • Evaluate the site's culture and climate to determine if any changes need to be made in order to improve employee satisfaction
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (5+ relative experience)
  • Experience in: project management with multiple tracks, event management
  • Experience supporting executive level leaders preferred, including the management of travel and calendars

Must be able to effectively communicate across an organization, through the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, via email, and in person, across departments, with Executives, Management, Employee base, customers, and vendors.
