The challenges ahead...
We are seeking a key Sales Director for DS Government Solutions (DSGS) who will: 

  • Successfully implement the Dassault Systèmes Industry Strategy for assigned existing accounts in US Federal Government agencies and their value chain in order to increase Dassault Systèmes penetration and revenue growth on a short and mid-term basis.
  • Contribute to the team’s sales engagement model, operations, and go-to-market strategy to optimize the market capture objectives.

What will your role be?

  • Proven leadership managing and motivating a diverse team to meet and exceed sales objectives
  • Develop and lead a sales team of 5+ sales professionals
  • Deliver sourcing & revenue plans by executing an overall sales strategy based on TARGET process, involving the Dassault Systèmes ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and practices related to the software industry and purchasing decisions  (e.g. lifecycle management, engineering, program management, design, facilities)
  • Identify, Reveal & Articulate the customer business value through Industry Solution and Industry Process portfolios.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer executives to foster a sustainable partnership between both companies. 
  • Identify key customer challenges and drivers to transformation to propose Dassault Systèmes Solutions
  • Act as leader to support enterprise business transformation for the customer & their value chain. 
  • Establish strong entry barrier against competition.
  • Engage systematically on value (VALUE ENGAGEMENT framework), positioning and selling Business Consulting services to support client’s business transformation needs
  • Deliver & monitor end-to-end Business Value through Dassault Systèmes Industry Solutions and Process Experiences.
  • Act as the team leader for all 3DS ecosystem actors engaged in account strategy development and execution
  • Leverage 3DEXPERIENCE platform as the channel for intimate clients’ relationships and align internal ecosystem activities & deliverables. 
  • Provide Leadership around VALUE ENGAGEMENT and guide the team on best practices for selling on value through Dassault Systèmes’ Industry Solutions Experiences.
  • Generate growth, in assigned DSGS territory according to sourcing built on Industry Market Analysis 

Your Success factors?

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field; with advanced degree in technical field or business a plus
  • 10+ years selling experience with 3-5 years in successful sales management role
  • Proven record of accomplishment selling complex technical software solutions, preferably engineering software solutions, in a stand-alone and enterprise system environment. 
  • Experience selling to the Federal government. 
  • Knowledge of selling the full enterprise MBSE / Digital Twin / CAD / PLM software suite
  • Experience in software environments on premise and/or cloud.  
  • Excellent presentation skills both written and oral, with experience at presenting to the “C” and/or executive level of complex organizations including the Federal government. 
  • Substantial travel and ownership of or ability to obtain a government security clearance to effectively work within the assigned client base.
  • US citizen required to access government facilities and programs.

Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience.
