We have an exciting opportunity to join our Deal Value Engineering team delivering first class business partnering to our sales teams and stakeholders. The Deal Value Engineer role is a key in key pillar is supporting our Sales Teams and wider 3DS Business community and contributes to the efficiency and productivity of the sales process.

What will your role be? 

You will support Sales organizations, focusing on high-value deals, to structure, detail, negotiate and close commercial proposals in order to maximize 3DS value and to protect the 3DS global and long-term economy of the deals.

The challenges ahead

  • Teaming with Sales and Services teams to develop tailored offer content
  • Maximizing alignment with Dassault Systèmes policies and securing all internal required approvals, at local level or global level
  • Identifying and mitigating business risks to increase quality and profitability of complex deals
  • Participating in contract development and negotiation with customers
  • Approving final commercial proposal before delivery to customers for signature
  • Improving customers trust in Dassault Systèmes by improving customer experience during engagement negotiation and execution
  • Document business practices and support improvement of sales processes based on customer engagement experiences, in relation with specific customer industries & countries

Your key success factors:

  • Proven experience of business negotiation within sales, procurement, legal or finance organisation and experienced with contracts
  • Direct experience with software business negotiation, commercial management and contract management
  • Proven experience within Sales Operations, Pricing, Legal, Revenue-Recognitions
  • Current/previous software industry experience
  • Leadership in a team work environment
  • License Pricing management experience
  • Demonstrate experience of multicultural relationship management in a working environment
  • Experience of Ordering Process and Tools
  • Good appreciation of operational and financial issues
  • Creative, innovative mind-set to spot opportunities
  • Confidence to work self-managed in a fast paced and exciting environment
