CATIA MAGIC Software Systems Engineer

Our CATIA Magic Team is looking for a Software Systems Engineer. The preferred location for this position is Dallas / Plano, TX , but is flexible.
The CATIA Magic Software Systems Engineer will drive adoption of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), providing technical leadership on tools and the digital engineering ecosystem. This role will also collaborate with internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate MBSE processes into existing workflows
- Provide technical consulting to clients on CATIA Magic, SysML, and broader systems engineering (SE) principles
- Deliver hands-on workshops, product demonstrations, and training sessions tailored to client needs
- Develop and maintain scripts, plugins and integrations using JavaScript, Python and Java
- Collaborate with internal product teams to enhance features and maintain tool interoperability
- Create tutorials, documentation, and best-practice guides to facilitate user adoption
- Work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to align MBSE solutions with customer needs
- Manage stakeholder expectations, timelines, and deliverables for MBSE-related projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field required, Master’s or additional certifications a plus
- 8+ years’ experience in a mixture of software engineering, systems engineering, consulting, MBSE
- Hands-on experience with CATIA Magic (formerly Cameo) or a similar SysML modeling tool
- Proficiency in Java, Python and/or Javascript
- Experience designing and implementing integrations between MBSE tools and other enterprise applications
- Strong Presentation and communication skills
- Effective Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
- Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with aerospace, defense, automotive or other industries heavily using MBSE
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between 170,000 and 210,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
