Role Description & Responsibilities
Your specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for APAC stakeholders & travelers, to provide prompt and effective support for travel policy & process. Countries involved: China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, and other Asean countries, excluding India.
- Partner with APAC T&E Senior Manager to implement value-adding process improvements & technological innovations and optimize travel program to ensure compliance with travel policies (i.e., bookings; out-of-policy cases).
- Design travel policy & process as well as deliver training & awareness sessions for the travel community.
- Develop, communicate, and implement travel-related initiatives, policy updates, and innovative solution while enhancing traveler satisfaction by continuously improving the travel experience.
- Collaborate with travel management companies to monitor KPI’s and drive operational efficiencies for the APAC travel program whilst supporting supplier management & RFP processes for accommodation, car rentals, and rail services.
- Analyze travel data to prepare compliance reports (cost savings opportunities) & performance analysis (monthly, quarterly & annually) and track KPI’s for business reviews & stakeholder updates.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma with Travel specialization is preferred, but open to other fields such as Finance, Business & more.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Global/Regional Travel Management company/Travel agency background. Candidates from airliner background with Travel management scope are welcome to apply.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with strong time management skills and ability to deliver services on time (such as reports and travel arrangement delivery). Must have knowledge in travel booking (including online booking tools know-how), fare ticketing, and GDS.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point), analytical mindset and can generate reports from raw data.
- Excellent and effective written and oral English communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds & cultures at all levels within the organization.
- Fluency in Mandarin/Chinese is mandatory. Proficiency in Japanese/Korean are a plus.
