As an AI Geometry Development Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for developing geometric algorithms and solvers for Dassault Systèmes’ MODSIM solutions, which aim to unify modelling and simulation workflows within the 3DExperience platform. You will participate in the development of new technologies for Model Preparation for numerical simulation. To do so, you will have the opportunity to develop and deploy software at the core of the Geometric Modeler, enhanced with AI technologies.

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Model preparation for numerical fluid simulation using Navier-Stokes workflows: you will contribute to the development of the core geometry technologies used to ensure geometric watertightness for volume meshing during the CAD idealization process
  • Model preparation for structural simulation: you will develop AI agents whose function will be to elevate semantics of CAD parts in order to accelerate and automate the generation of high quality meshes for crash solvers. More specifically, you will be responsible for the AI model definition and implementation, training database creation, and results validation on industrial data
  • More generally, you will contribute to the work to enlarge AI usage within the Geometry Idealization portfolio for numerical simulation at the 3D MODSIM organization level and extend our best-in-class position compared to competitors in a quickly evolving R&D ecosystem
     

 

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D or Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in AI/ML, Pytorch or Tensorflow
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages and a deep understanding of software development principles
  • Strong knowledge of applied mathematics, with a focus on computational geometry
  • Familiarity with the development of mathematical operators and geometric solvers
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to tackle complex mathematical challenges
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
