Acorn AI Product Marketing

The Director, Product Marketing will be focused on Medidata Acorn AI products (Intelligent Trials, Medidata Link) and will work closely with product teams and other marketing colleagues on customer insights, go-to-market plans, messaging and content, as well as field marketing tactics. Candidates should be equally comfortable with writing high quality content as well as data analytics, market research, and tactics optimization.

The successful team member will:

  • Create customer personas which will serve as inspiration and guides for marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop value propositions and key messages, based on a robust understanding of products, customer needs, and competitive differentiation
  • Collaborate with demand and brand marketing teams around tactical execution to deliver messages (events, digital, demand, etc.)
  • Generate customer success case studies
  • Use Competitive Intelligence to analyze and report on competitor capabilities and initiatives
  • Conceive and create thought leadership and educational content to broaden the awareness and understanding of our products
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Data Sciences, or equivalent experience; Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience, with knowledge and experience in the healthcare and life sciences industry - especially in applying advanced technology (AI, machine learning, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience in the development, marketing and/or sales of advanced analytics software and services in the healthcare / life sciences industry
  • A tight and fluid link between left and right brain, the position requires both creative and analytical skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts for maximum understanding
  • Strong collaborator, with ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills and proven content creation experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in designing and executing marketing and communications programs
  • Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
