CADdoctor for 3DEXPERIENCE is a solution where you can utilize the 3DEXPERIENCE reader and writer capabilities in Elysium's flagship products CADdoctor and ASFALIS. This solution willl be an enriched addition to the 3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA V6) DirectTranslator that has supported translation of 3DEXPERIENCE to and from formats such as NX, Parasolid, and Creo.

This solution expands data interoperability to multi-CAD systems. In addition, Elysium's sopisticated 3D data optimizing technology can be utilized with 3DEXPERIENCE for data exchange with downstream processes by healing, geometry simplification, and processing data by taking advantage of information embedded in the CAD model such as PMI and attributes.

Elysium CADdoctor is package software with standalone user interface. This product has a built-in geometry healing module called DEK (Data Exchange Kernel) with pre-defined “flavoring” options for each CAD formats or neutral formats. This allows users to run data translation from the import/export menu simply by selecting the file format, while other translators without xCAD translate via intermediate files in intricate processes — export an intermediate file from 3DEXPERIENCE and import to other CAD system, and the other way around.3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA V6) DirectTranslator contributes to the realization of the basic concept of 3DEXPERIENCE — to utilize the product information seamlessly on a single platform.For a robust CATIA V6 translation, Elysium uses xCAD to convert various elements of CATIA V6 while utilizing its current technical know-how that has been achieved with experience and history of translation with CATIA V4 and V5.

Elysium Format Converter for NX

All CATIA V6 data is stored in Dassault Systèmes’ PDM (Product Data Management) system “ENOVIA”, which means access to ENOVIA is a prerequisite to handling the V6 data within. Direct translation of CATIA V6 data stored in ENOVIA is realized to be possible by using “xCAD”. Elysium is one of only two translation vendors in the world to complete an agreement with Dassault Systems with license to develop a 3D data translator by utilizing “xCAD”.For a robust CATIA V6 translation, Elysium uses “xCAD” to convert various elements of CATIA V6 while utilizing its current technical know-how that has been achieved with experience and history of translation with CATIA V4 and V5.
