There is an overlap between Abaqus users and FLOW-3D users and we have been asked whether we could facilitate an interface between the two software for tighter and more convenient CFD-FEA co-simulation. An interface between FLOW-3D and Abaqus would allow for FLOW-3D’s CFD results to be exported to Abaqus as initial or boundary condition in the form of either pressure or force.
