Veryst Engineering offers the PolyUMod™ library of user-material models for nonlinear finite element modeling of engineering polymers and biomaterials. The library contains general purpose material models that cover virtually all polymer systems, including thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, foams, filled plastics, and biomaterials. The PolyUMod™ subroutines provide the FE user advanced material models as if they were built into the Abaqus Standard and Explicit solvers. Engineers can perform very accurate FE simulations without becoming an expert in material model software development. Veryst has also developed the Veryst Material Database—a growing set of pre-calibrated material models that are intended to be used as ‘generic’ models for specific polymers and are available in Abaqus.
Veryst Engineering also offers MCalibration™, a specialized software application that enables semi-automatic extraction of pertinent material parameters from experimental data for all material models by Abaqus and the PolyUMod library. The calibration software allows the user to analyze a set of experimental data files in order to determine the optimal model parameters. PolyUMod and MCalibration are offered separately.
