Client Executive - Defense
We are seeking a Client Executive – Defense who will successfully implement the Dassault Systèmes Industry Strategy for assigned existing accounts and their value chain in order to increase Dassault Systèmes penetration and revenue growth in the UK.
Role & Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Ownership: Act as the primary advisor for Tier 1 Aerospace, Defense, and Marine accounts, aligning their business goals with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform roadmap.
- Value-Driven Sales: Lead end-to-end sales engagements using sales frameworks to secure multi-year deals and drive long-term revenue growth.
- C-Suite Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-level intimacy with C-level executives to influence digital transformation and create high barriers to entry for competitors.
- Ecosystem Orchestration: Coordinate cross-functional internal teams, including Industry Consultants, Sales Experts, and Services, to ensure seamless value delivery.
- Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide high-accuracy forecasting across a five-quarter rolling window within the CRM.
- Customer Transformation & Adoption: Monitor the deployment of SaaS and enterprise solutions among our customer base, ensuring high user adoption and the successful realization of the client’s business value.
Qualifications
- Proven Strategic Sales Experience: Extensive background in direct sales at a strategic level, specifically working with large OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Industry Expertise: Deep vertical knowledge of the Aerospace, Defense, or Marine sectors, including an understanding of their unique regulatory and engineering challenges.
- Consultative Selling Proficiency: Mastery of value-based selling methodologies, focusing on business outcomes and ROI rather than feature-based pitching.
- Leadership & Team Coordination: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, matrixed teams and external partners to execute sophisticated account strategies.
- Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant business or technical field.
- Operational Excellence: Strong proficiency in CRM management (mapping Customer Value Roadmaps) and a disciplined approach to sales ethics and financial negotiations.
