Automation Developer (Python/Selenium Focus) - Tokyo Based
Job Description and Responsibilities
Join the Tokyo-based Worldwide Automation Team within Dassault Systemes' Sales Business Administration organization (part of the Finance team). Our team manages customer data, purchase order validations, and license key fulfillment using an Oracle PeopleSoft Order-to-Cash (OTC) system. With limited built-in automation in the OTC system, we focus on streamlining human workflows through tools like UiPath (RPA), VBA, Python, Selenium, and Large Language Models.
This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys coding automations, learning internal systems, and collaborating on RPA projects. You'll replace a retiring team member who handled RPA specifications and custom Python/Selenium scripts for cost-effective automations outside of UiPath licenses. Over time, you'll assist in creating specification documents to guide a separate development team on UiPath RPAs, with access to a local development UiPath license (not required immediately).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python-based automations, including Selenium scripts for UI interactions and RPA tasks that don't require full UiPath deployment.
- Analyze business automation needs from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications or prototypes.
- Perform local development work using Python, Selenium, and eventually UiPath for new automations.
- Maintain and upgrade existing codebases (currently Python, VBA, and RPA scripts, but we are flexible on this level).
- Collaborate with India-based developers on RPA implementations and Paris-based operations teams for workflow insights.
- Contribute to increasing our automation rate as a key performance metric.

今回Python + Seleniumをメインにした実装が得意な方を募集します。まずはPython/Seleniumでコストを抑えた自動化を進めつつ、徐々にUiPathの仕様書作成やISチームやインドの開発チームとの橋渡し業務にも関わっていただきます（UiPathのローカル開発ライセンスは準備済みですが、すぐには必須ではありません）。
主な業務内容
- Pythonを使った自動化スクリプトの開発・保守（特にSeleniumによるWeb/UI操作自動化が中心）
- 業務部門からの自動化の要望をヒアリングし、技術的な仕様書やプロトタイプを作成
- 新規自動化のローカル実装（Python / Selenium / 将来的にUiPath）
- 既存コード（Python、VBA、RPAスクリプト）のメンテナンス・アップデート
- インド拠点の開発チームとの連携（仕様説明・レビュー）
- パリ拠点のオペレーションチームとの業務フロー調整
- 全体の自動化率向上をKPIに、継続的に改善を推進
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python programming, with hands-on experience in Selenium for web automation or UI scripting.
- Interest in learning RPA tools like UiPath; prior RPA experience is a plus but not essential—we'll provide training and a local dev license.
- Ability to learn complex internal systems (e.g., Oracle PeopleSoft OTC) and document technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills for automating workflows in data management or order processing environments.
- Bilingual in Japanese and English for effective communication with global teams.
Relevant Bachelor's degree or field; 2-5 years of relevant development experience preferred (mid-level candidates encouraged to apply).

必須スキル・経験
